Now that Mr. Driller 2 and Mr. Driller G are both playable on MAME I would love it if their scoreboards were split into different categories for the different game modes, much like Mr. Driller 1's separate Beginner and Advanced categories.
Mr. Driller 2's modes are:
- India (Easy, 500m)
- America (Normal, 1000m)
- Egypt (Hard, 2000m)
- The North (Very Hard, 2000m EX)
(NOTE: to unlock The North in Mr. Driller 2 you have to open the operator menu and input
this extremely long code. Thankfully Mr. Driller G doesn't make you do anything like this)
Mr. Driller G's modes are:
- India (Easy, 500m)
- America (Normal, 1000m)
- Egypt (Hard, 2000m)
- The North (Very Hard, 2000m EX)
- Space (Endless)
- Time Attack (which has 6 different routes named Route 1 thru Route 6, each of which has its own high score table and saves your time (M'SS"ss format) instead of a regular score)
I have no idea whether or not Mr. Driller G's Time Attack mode is very popular but it would be great to at least have the other modes in there. I'd personally love to be able to submit my 1CCs of Mr. Driller 2's 500m, 1000m and 2000m modes instead of only submitting the one that has the highest score.
